The Scioto Greenway Trail:
Four segments of this paved Trail have been completed totaling 7.5 miles. This greenway travels through the heart of downtown Columbus.  Sections 2 and 4 will soon be connected as part of an 11 mile greenway towards Griggs Reservoir.  Sections 1 and 3 connect to the Olentangy Trail and form a downtown loop popular with joggers, rollerbladers, and cyclists.

Construction Alert!

Due to the Main Street Bridge construction, Section 1 of the Scioto Trail is closed at the bridge, take Main Street down to the connection at MiraNova.

 

Points of Interest Along the Route:

 

Section 1: Follows along the Scioto River in Downtown Columbus from Confluence Park to Berliner Park. (4 mi.). Trail Head: North Bank Park, Battelle Park, Bicentennial Park, Whittier Peninsula, Greenlawn Ave., Berliner Park

Section 2: from Confluence Park to Columbus Utilities Complex, 910 Dublin Road (1/2 mi)

Section 3: Westbank, from Dodge Park to Sauder Ave. (1.75 mi.) Trail Head:  Dodge Park, COSI, Veterans Memorial

Section 4: from Grandview Ave. to Riversedge (1.25 mi.). Trail Head: Intersection of Grandview Ave, Watermark Dr., and I-670.
